SUKHA YOGA
Located at 203 Main St. Delta, Ohio, Sukha Yoga offers Beginner/Intermediate Hatha Yoga, Chair Yoga, Tai Chi for Arthritis I and II and Sun Style Tai Chi 73 Forms.
New Monday CHAIR YOGA class at the Swanton Library 4:30 - 5:30 pm!
At Sukha Yoga in Delta, the room is ventilated and air is circulating. Students choose to mask or not mask. Social distancing is still a good idea.
We are located in the rear of Dave's Running in Delta, 203 Main St. Park in the rear of the building and enter at the back door (front door may be locked, if they have closed up for the day).
All classes are taught by Dawn Seigneur, a Physical Therapist since 1981.
Dawn was certified in hatha yoga through the Yoga Alliance in 2006, and certified in Tai Chi for Arthritis in 2012.
Yoga classes are offered the year-around, and visitors may pop in for any class (best to call 419-822-8333 or check the schedule first, as there are some blackout dates occasionally.)
Chair Yoga often takes a weather-break around January and February, resuming in March once the weather is safer for walking and driving.
Basic Tai Chi classes have a specific beginning and end, since new skills are continuously built upon. Check the schedule, or call 419-822-8333 to check the date a tai chi class re-starts.
Tai Chi 73 Forms is a class that follows the basic Tai Chi classes, if the student wants to learn new and even more interesting forms. Prerequisite is completion of the basic Tai Chi classes I and II. This is a continuous class throughout the year and new students can integrate with the more established students while all develop their skill level.
